> An instance of a bespoke digital platform built on uncompromising engineering and a refusal to follow modern web bloat, and the emergent property is that of a conceptual art project. It is a little dada. A bit situational. Somewhat subversive. And very intentional. Retro-skeuomorphic aesthetic but fully accessible; a masterclass in clean code and semantic HTML, and is a most welcoming place on the web for a screen reader or a low-bandwidth user. It uses both Dutch irony ("brutally honest") and British Irony ("understated excellence"). There is hyperbole and hyper-realism too; the utter disdain for what has happened to the internet and the web, genuine.
